OMG the red colour is pink in this photo.. it's actually bright red!!stupid camera
I don't know if this is the right category, but.. uhm yeah.. it's hard to decide.

We got an assignment at school, "symbolic selfportrait"
I have some comments about it myself, but I'll let you make your own thoughts.

Done in a a bit over an hour. Maybe two. :\ [we didn't get much time]

[symbolic meaning] ---
as I've been told, no answers are wrong in when it comes to what you first think of etc. I'll write this anyway.

the mask is a protection + a gasmask is known to be scary [actually I just love gasmasks] anyway, so in a way, I am protecting myself, while I hide my face and instead put on a scary mask that just.. most people avoid.

The colours on the clothes [and tail] are kinda.. symbolic. the red passion-colour blending without really "blending" with the darkness of the black [not darkness as a gothic person, but just th dark sides of a person] ... if these two blended, they would not be a mess.. [both the colours and the...symbols] so they're instead "lined" up with each other... although they tend to blend here and there. ;D

the cat is actually just a puppet, as if this scary thing is actually just trying to entertain the audience.. but fails more or less [but it IS a cat cause I think cats are cute]

Oh and the shoes are "kinda" manly cause..I have big feet. I was told when they looked at my picture at school, "those are shoes that serial killers wear!!" lol.. so yeah ;D
The brown hand that has only 3 fingers, is to show that this thing behind the mask isn't all human.. of course I AM and I know that, but.. sometimes I don't feel like it .. lol.. so this thing is like.. it has everything covered up, but not it's hand. oh no.
